Lyn keeps all finger and toes at The Drift

Lyn takes 3rd at Aptly Named…. “The Drift” in WY

In a somewhat masochistic race choice, G20’s Lyn Vanschoiack headed to Pinedale, Wyoming, right as a winter storm hit, to run 28 miles in the inaugural The Drift race.  And “drift” it did – for 28 miles along the Upper Green River in the Wind River country.

Lyn said sometimes the wind was blowing 50 mph and added just a touch to the challenge!  Regardless, the Challis, Idaho mom refused to give in and battled her way for just under 8 1/2 hours to finish in third place, netting her the $1 million dollar 3rd place prize and a spot on the 2022 Winter Olympic Nutcase Team.  We are happy that she made it alive and did not become a permanent fixture in the Wyoming wilderness.
