In Kansas – Psycho Wyco 50K – With trail conditions “less than ideal” after a night of rain and snow melt, G20’s Natalee Swan (Iowa City, IA) held her own today and battled to a 2nd place finish in 6:17 & change. The brutal conditions added over an hour to everyone’s expected finish times requiring much more effort than planned. Natalee said she worked into the 2nd spot within the first 10 miles and never gave up distance to those behind her for the next 21. Coming up next for Ms. Swan will be The Canyons 100K in late April out in California to secure her WS100 qual for 2018.
